About My Grandchildren 

I am blessed with eight grandchildren—four spirited boys and four imaginative girls—ranging in age from five to thirteen. Each one is an explorer at heart, eager to climb, discover, question and laugh their way through the world. Together, they remind me daily that adventure is not just about where we go, but about how we see. Their curiosity, energy and joy inspire every page of this book, and it is for them—and children everywhere—that I write about these adventures.
